Gold Roast Food Industry (Singapore)

As a member of the VIZ BRANZ Group of Companies, Gold Roast Food Industry (Singapore) is the pioneer in the manufacturing & exporter of instant beverages mixes in the "all-in-one" sachet form.

Pioneered by Mr. Chng Khoon Peng, our founder, in 1988, this innovative idea of providing our consumers a convenient approach in preparing their drinks such as coffee, tea and cereal in a quick & handy way was a hit. This spurred the Company to expand its marketing & distribution focus to the Asia and subsequently, international arena. Our brands, our market share and our distribution network have spread far & wide - to the United States, Lebanon, Russia, Iran and Bangladesh.

Quality & commitment to our customers form the cornerstones of our success. Evidences of these could be traced to us winning the 10th Golden Europe Award for Quality - 1996. In 2000, Gold Roast Food Industry (Singapore) was awarded HACCP (Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Point) certification by PSB for the manufacture of instant beverages and in 2003, HACCP certification was awarded for gourmet roasted coffee beans.

In 2005, IE Singapore accorded the status of "Tasty Singapore Brand Ambassador " on our brands such as Gold Roast, CappaRomA, Cafe 21, Calsome, Fresh-up, AmeriCafe and BenCafe. This will certainly gain more exposure for our products into regions like Australia, Europe and the Middle East.

In 2006, Gold Roast Food Industry (Singapore) was awarded AVA's Food Safety Award for achieving an "A" grading for 7 consecutive years (2000 to 2007).

Our brands, Café 21 and CappaRomA Low Fat have respectively won the Singapore Star Award 1998 and Singapore & Asia Star Packaging Award 2005.

Gold Roast Food Industry (Singapore) stands firm in its commitment to regionalisation & technological breakthrough. Today, this commitment is embraced in our corporate values of being Professional, Innovative, Passionate & Loving.

We relish the challenges that the future brings and we stand ready to be a leading player in the East Asia food industry.
